** Mapping Women's Networks Survey **
Are women's networks a positive development for women or are they
divisive and isolating women from each other?!!
We are sure that the real picture of the growing movement of women's
networks, e-groups, forums, etc. is more complex than this simplistic
question, so we would really appreciate it if you would contribute
your experiences and ideas by completing our survey.
You can take the survey online by clicking on this link
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=2fZvcIKV4hHLT8zoHGouEg_3d_3d
Or you can download a word document version of our survey by clicking

With thanks in advance for your time
If you would like to see which Networks, Forums, etc., have chosen to
list themselves as part of this project please go to

appreciate their contribution.

And finally
** Please Sign the Petition Against the Closure of Rape Crisis Centres
Who would you turn to if you were raped?
If you are outraged by the closure of Rape Crisis centres (from 84
centres in 1985 to 32 today, with more likely to close), please sign
online at
http://www.zoomerang.com/recipient/survey.zgi?p=WEB226ZHCL4S26
The petition will be forwarded to the Home Secretary Jacqui Smith.
(Please note this petition has been set up by a commercial women's
magazine, but it seems better that we all sign one rather than lots of
different ones)

might be interested in specific women's events for instance around
International Women's Day and during the 16 Days of Activism Against
Violence Against Women, as well of specific WiL projects such as our
Mapping Women's Network project.

women's groups around the country every week to ten days. If you
would like to subscribe to this please go to
http://freecharity.org.uk/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/womeninlondonupdates
(It is also sent to around 750 women who work or volunteer for the
groups that are part of the Women in London directory)
