Garba Workshop - crash course in traditional Indian dance
Garba is traditional Indian dance originating from the region of
Gujarat. The dance is traditionally performed during Navaratri, which
means Nine Nights.
This festival is most commonly celebrated by women by prayers and
celebrations to the Mother Goddess.
In light of this, we are holding a crash course in Garba on 9th Sept
from 6-9 pm at Henna Asian Women's Group, Abbey Community Centre, 222C
Belsize Rd, London NW6
Satish Shah of Saraswati Academy of Indian Dance will be conducting
