The International programme is Big Lottery Fund's way of helping
disadvantaged communities overseas.

This £72 million programme will support work that tackles the causes
of poverty and deprivation, and brings about a long-term difference to
the lives of the most disadvantaged people across the globe.

International Small Grants is for small and medium-sized UK
non-governmental organisations working with partners overseas.

Grants are for feasibility studies, research and analysis for future
projects.

Projects should be based in one or more of the following countries or
regions:

a.. Africa
a.. Asia
a.. The Middle East
a.. Central and South America
a.. The Caribbean
a.. Eastern Europe, including the Russian Federation and Caucasus,
excluding members of the European Union

The total sum available under International Small Grants is £500,000.
