[WiLT] Free Domestic Violence Training Courses for Statutory and Voluntary Sector Agencies in Islington

The Islington Domestic Violence Project Team (funded by the Safer
Islington Partnership) is arranging to provide another series of free
training courses to voluntary and statutory sector services in
Islington. These are aimed at supporting front-line workers to assist
more effectively with clients affected by domestic violence.
N.B: If you wish to attend either the Children & DV or Housing & Legal
options training you must have completed a 1-day Awareness session
first. Also we now have an advanced awareness follow on half-day
course if you have attended a one-day awareness course previously.
Domestic Violence Awareness (1 day)
03/05 Oct : 05 Dec : 07/27 Feb
Advanced/ follow-on awareness (½ day)
20 Nov : 07 Dec : 28 Feb : 21 Mar
Children & domestic violence (1-day)
06 Oct : 01 Mar : 22 Mar
Housing & legal options for clients experiencing DV (2-day)
16 + 17 Nov : 13 + 14 Feb : 14 + 15 Mar
The charge for the course will now be £30 per person for a one or
two-day course, and £20 for a half-day course. The courses are to be
held at Manor Gardens, off Holloway Road, Islington.
