Network Capacity Building Scheme - Yorkshire & Humber Region (9th Nov)

Money is now available to support 8 individual regional VCS networks
under the theme of networking and collaboration.

The Network Capacity Building Scheme 2 will support 8 individual
networks under the priority theme of networking and collaboration.

It will aim to support new or developing thematic networks so that
they can engage better with the regional agenda, develop advocates or
representatives to participate in regional and other structures and
develop structures to enable the VCS to respond to emerging issues and
promote sustainability.

Successful Network Capacity Building Scheme projects will be funded
from November 2006 to March 2007.

The Scheme is divided into 2 strands:
* Strand A will support networks who have previously received regional
ChangeUp funding through either the Bold Short Term Investment
Programme or the Network Capacity Building Scheme. 5 networks will be
supported in this strand up to an individual total of £8,000.
* Strand B will support new, developing or struggling networks who
have not previously received funding through either scheme. 3 networks
will be supported under this scheme up to an individual total of
£14,000.

The deadline for completed proposal forms 5.00pm Thursday 9th November
2006.

Networks must have completed their activity by 31st March 2007.
