Consultation on the new London Councils Funding Processes

Thursday November 30th 2006 from 9:30-5pm
Oxford House, Derbyshire Street, Bethnal Green, London E2 6HG

London Councils have extended their Consultation on Funding Processes
deadline to the first week of December so that VSF's conference this
year can be used to feed into the consultation process.

The VSF Campaign has had such an impact that at the meeting of the
Leaders' Executive on Monday 30th October they agreed to a standstill
budget - this means that the budget to London's VCS will remain at its
current level.

It is very important that as many VSF members as possible contribute
to this consultation in order to ensure that the assessment criteria
for future funding from the London Councils are appropriate and
accessible for the London Voluntary and Community Sector

Members of London Councils staff and Councillors will be attending so
you can find out first hand, what happens next.

Book your place today and put the date in your diary if you haven't
already.

The programme will include presentations, workshops on the
Commissioning Process, a panel question and answer session and the
event will finish with a short reception. There will be plenty of time
to get your voice heard as well as network with fellow VSF members.

Please note this event is open to non members and is an opportunity
for groups new to or unaware of the London Councils (ex ALG) new grant
procedure of commissioning to learn more about it.
