[WiLT] Management Training for Women

Women into Management is a project aimed at enabling women to aspire
into management roles.  The primary objective of the scheme is simple:
enhance the competitiveness of small and medium sized organizations by
assisting in the development of their most valuable assets; their
employees. The programme is aimed solely at women to help address the
existing gender equality gap and increase the presence of women in
managerial positions in the UK.

 

If your organization or business meets the eligibility criteria, the
costs of training and assessment for courses may be paid in part.
Training is free for voluntary or not-for-profit organizations meeting
the criteria.

 

Eligibility criteria

*         Your company must be based in the East London area (designated
postcodes)

*         You company must have less than 250 employees

*         The employees you wish to be trained need to meet these
criteria:

	*	Be women
	*	Be working either employed or as a volunteer 
	*	Must not have a management qualification
	*	Be aged 20 - 64 and one of the following

		*	Single parent
		*	Over 50
		*	BAME
		*	Disabled or have a learning difficulty

 

Courses offered at the Innovatory

*	NVQ Management Level 3
*	NVQ Management Level 4

 

How to book onto this programme

Contact the Training Manager, who will make an initial check on your
eligibility, and if you meet the criteria, will explain the registration
procedure which will enable you to access training for your employees.
