Community Leadership (Certificate) at Birkbeck
The Certificate in Community Leadership is for community practitioners
at the sharp end who want to understand better the context in which
they operate, to discuss common issues with colleagues from other
organisations, and to take a step back and reflect on their work and
its significance. It is offered in collaboration with the London Civic
Forum.
Community leadership work in London includes a wide range of roles in
local strategic partnerships, neighbourhood renewal, New Deal for
Communities, voluntary and community sector organisations, faith
communities, local communities, and the various partnerships which
have been set up for urban regeneration.
Complete the following three modules:
* Module 1: Community Leadership
* Module 2: Community-Based Project Development and Management
* Module 3: Community Action
Modules may be taken in any order.

for community activists and project co-ordinators and leaders,
