Funding to Tackle Domestic Violence and Hate Crimes (London)
The Safer London Foundation would like to announce their new Grants
Application procedure for future funding .
Our main interest for the remainder of 2006 is in organisations whose
projects are supported by the local Safer Neighbourhood Team and are
associated with the prevention and reduction of Domestic Violence or
hate crime. Funding applications can be for both capital and revenue
costs as well as research.
Domestic Violence:
1. We would particularly welcome Advocacy projects and projects
associated with same sex couples
2. In total 3 projects will be funded
3. Approx £30,000 will be awarded between the 3 projects
Hate Crime
1. All aspects of hate crime but especially projects working with
victims of hate crime and restorative justice
2. In total 3 projects will be funded
3. Approx £30,000 will be awarded between 3 projects
We are also interested in hearing from local projects that meet the
criteria above and could be replicated throughout Greater London.
The closing date for applications is the 18th of October 2006.
Successful projects will be awarded funding in December 2006
