LDA Opportunities Fund 2007 - 2010 Round Two (London)
Closing Date: 14.00 on 6th October 2006

The second round of the LDA Opportunities Fund was launched on
Tuesday, 12 September 2006. It will be conducted through an open and
competitive two stage bidding process. All information in respect of
round two including the full Prospectus and Expression of Interest
form are available website via the links below.

The Fund provides grants to support a range of innovative and pilot
projects across London. It is part of our commitment to support the
development of strong community-based projects, and the LDA is
therefore keen to receive applications from local, third sector
organisations particularly minority-led organisations.

This year we are seeking projects that will deliver:
* Skills and employment support for equalities groups - targeting
London's new and newer communities and addressing the needs of
specific groups
* Capacity building for minority-led organisations
* Opportunities for engagement in London 2012 - ensuring London's
diverse communities are engaged in, contribute to and share the
benefits of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games and
associated opportunities
* Industrial Estates - improving the working environment through
collaborative working

The timescale for this bidding round
* Tuesday 12 September 2006 - Launch of round two Prospectus and
Expression of Interest Forms available on the LDA website
* Friday 6th October 2006 - Deadline for submission of Expression of
Interest Forms
* Monday 13th November 2006 - Successful applicants invited to submit
Full Application Forms
* Friday 22nd December 2006 - Deadline for submission of Full
Application Forms
* February 2007 - Publication of final decisions
* April 2007 - Projects can commence delivery
