LankellyChase Foundation Children's Summer Playshemes Small Grants
2007 - Closes 11th May 2007

Each year the Trustees of the LankellyChase Foundation set aside funds
for summer playschemes for children between the ages of 5 - 13 yrs.

Preference is given to small local playschemes lasting 4 - 6 weeks,
and groups planning special activities for youngsters who are
disadvantaged or who have a disability. This includes summer
activities for children in refuges

A limited number of grants are disbursed in small amounts, between
£200 - £500, to organisations in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern
Ireland. In total approximately 140 grants are made each year.

If you wish to be considered please read the following guidelines and
then complete the application form and return it as soon as possible,
but not later than Friday 11th May 2007. You will be notified of the
Trustees' decision in June

* Summer Playschemes for children aged 5-13 years
* Small local schemes lasting for 2-6 weeks
* Schemes catering for youngsters who are disadvantaged or who have a
disability
* Schemes with strong volunteer support
* Schemes held in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
* Preference will be given to applications from organisations with an
annual income of less than £300,000 per annum

They do not support:

* Summer camps;
* Club or family holidays;
* Replacing equipment.

They need from you:

* The completed application form (downloadable from their website), as
soon as possible, but not later than Friday 11th May 2007;
* A copy of your child protection policy; A copy of your most recent
accounts;
* A copy of your constitution (if not a registered charity).

Your application cannot be accepted without these documents.
