Survey for African Caribbean voluntary & community sector groups

Equinox Consulting have been contracted by BTEG (the Black Training
and Enterprise Group) to undertake research into the state of African
Caribbean community and voluntary organisations.

Anecdotal evidence indicates that the Caribbean voluntary sector is in
decline and we wish to find out if this is the case.

This work is part of a wider study that looks at issues relating to
the role of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) VCOs in providing services
and assistance within their own communities.

The objectives of this research are to:
* establish baseline information about the state and status of
Caribbean VCS in England, particularly in Lambeth and Southwark
* make recommendations as to how they can be better supported to
contribute positively to their communities and the voluntary and
community sector (VCS)
* report on the implications for policy makers and funders

If you are interested in taking part in the survey, please contact
Equinox Consulting on 020 8680 5678 or survey at equinoxconsulting.net.
