OWT Course -Basic Building Skills for Women

Basic building skills for women will introduce you to a variety of
trade skills including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, kitchen fitting,
painting, artexing and plastering. You will work as part of a team on
practical projects to develop safe use of hand and power tools in
addition to learning about the use of materials and fittings. You will
also cover skills for life to gain confidence in searching for jobs,
writing a CV, applying for work placements, career and personal
development, writing formal letters to employers, interview techniques
and job shadowing.
