This course will provide you with an in depth insight into a variety
of basic construction skills.

Skills covered will include bricklaying, plumbing, plastering,
carpentry and tiling.

Carpentry - An Introductory Course

The Foundation Construction Award in Wood Occupations designed to
equip you with the necessary practical and theoretical skills needed
to pursue a career in wood occupations. The course covers practical
assessment exercises consisting of the manufacture of 12 basic joints,
2 frames using basic joints, inspection hatch and frame, serving hatch
and window, use of power tools, erection and use of access equipment
and tower scaffold and unloading and storage of timber sheets and
materials.
