This course aims to raise awareness of the implications of self
employment and starting or running a business. It also provides an
understanding of the planning and preparation aspects prior to a
business start up; and how to identify and move forward with an
initial business idea. Subjects covered include preparing an idea for
business start up, developing a business plan, producing a marketing
plan and identifying resource and financial requirements.

This course identifies opportunities in Social Enterprise and gives

advice and support.
