Hello

My name is Tom and I'm a Community Cycling officer working on behalf
of the London Cycling Campaign (LCC). I am just writing to inform you
about the CCFL (Community Cycling Fund for London) community cycling
grants scheme with funding from Transport for London. The funding is
for up to £5,000 (distributed twice a year) to enable groups to set up
or further develop cycling projects and schemes within their
community. Please have a look at our website for more information
http://lcc.org.uk/index.asp?PageID=183

As well as the CCFL grants we also manage and fund for the Active
Transport Consortium a fund being used to work with 'hard to reach
cyclists'. The aim of this fund is to help groups not only financially
but also to support groups, new to the world of cycling, to create
great projects. Quite a depressing fact is that a small proportion of
cyclists in London are women, which is why I'm writing to you to see
if you could forward this information onto your mailing list. Cycling
offers not only a cheap environmentally sound mode of transport but
also exercise, confidence building and has been shown to help people
suffering from mental health and isolation issues.

So if you are interested in any of the above or you have ANY ideas or
if you need more information then please get in touch. Please forward
this email onto anyone you think may be interested.

Best Wishes
Tom
