I enclose speaker details of our forthcoming Westminster Briefing
entitled: "Supporting Female Victims of Crime: Improving Services for
Women Affected by Domestic Violence and Rape" which will be hosted by
The House Magazine on Thursday, 19th June 2008 in Westminster.

The 2005 Green Paper 'Rebuilding Lives: Supporting Victims of Crime'
states "The Government is committed to helping victims of crime as
fully
as possible. We want to provide support that is immediate, practical,
tailored to their needs and locally-delivered". This Westminster
Briefing will allow participants the opportunity to examine the latest
Government initiatives to support female victims of crime and debate
and
discuss future policy direction. Speakers at this event include Sam
Darby (Policy Lead Domestic Violence, Home Office), Lyndsay Gittus
(Policy Lead Sexual Violence, Home Office), Jude Watson (Domestic
Violence Project Manager, Crown Prosecution Service), Deborah McIlveen
(Policy Officer, Women's Aid) and Jill Madison (Family Justice Centre,
Croydon).
