Nominations are now open for the 2009 DSC Social Change Awards

We are excited to announce the opening of nominations for our annual Social
Change Awards! We are looking for the passionate individuals and effective
organisations committed to making positive impacts on our society. We want to
celebrate what these amazing people have done in a fun and informal awards
ceremony but we can't do that without your help.

If you know of individuals, community groups, companies, public bodies or
charities that you think deserve the Everyday Impact Award, the Influencer
Award, Investing in Social Change Award or the Public Body Award we want them to
be nominated. And you can even nominate yourself! The nomination process takes
less than 5 minutes.

Social Change Awards celebrates the passionate individuals and effective
organisations committed to making a positive impact on society.

This change can come about through the everyday actions of one individual, many
people pulling together, a local company that cares about their wider community
or the thoughtful investment of resources.

The awards are fun, informal and inclusive.

The four award categories are:
  a.. Everyday Impact Award
  b.. Influencer Award
c.. Investing in Social Change Award
  d.. Public Body Award.

Closing dates for each of these categories are:
