Please note, this launch event is distinct from the UK Feminista
consultation event for women's organisations being held on Wednesday 24th
February at the Amnesty International Human Rights Action Centre,

We are delighted to invite you to attend Introducing UK Feminista - a meeting at
the Amnesty International Human Rights Action Centre to discuss the launch of an
exciting new organization - UK Feminista.

About UK Feminista

UK Feminista is a unique organisation being launched in March 2010 to support
and promote grassroots feminist activism across the UK. The organisation aims to
build a national movement of activists and mobilise them in support of campaigns
coordinated by other women's rights organisations in the UK - in order to effect
real and lasting change in gender relations.

About the meeting

A central aim of the organization is to mobilize grassroots activists in support
of campaigns run by other feminist organizations.. Therefore we want to hear
your thoughts and ideas on how you would like to work with UK Feminista and how
you think your organization's work could most usefully benefit. This meeting
will also provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the aims and
activities of UK Feminista.

Introducing UK Feminista:

Date: Wednesday 24th February 2010
Time: 1.45-3.45pm
Venue: Amnesty International UK, Human Rights Action Centre, 17-25 New Inn Yard,
London. EC2A 3EA
